At Miska International Public School we are on a journey of making education more meaningful and engaging inside the classroom. We believe that each child is unique and gifted and a child's capacity to learn and create is infinite. The students should not merely excel in academics but develop as versatile humans having all-round personalities.
The school starts with a morning assembly, including the rendition of Vedic mantras and patriotic songs besides reading of news-facts and thought for the day by the students. Thus the seeds of discipline, respect for traditional values and faith in the Almighty are sown. The school curriculum is a synergistic mix of sports, music, dramatics, dance and computer education with academic classes.
One of the important tools to achieve this is through more interaction and one-to-one rapport with our children. The school atmosphere evokes a team spirit amongst the students and teachers. In the Pre-Primary section the curriculum is a fine amalgamation of less work and lots of play. The classroom sessions are interactive. This open and interactive approach also helps in discovering and strengthening inherent talent in the students. The use of multimedia is common, extensively used to make learning interesting and easy.
Our Library is a treasure-house of knowledge. All students have free access to the library. Games and sports are an integral part of the curriculum. Inter-class competitions are organized. Regular physical exercises and yoga are a part of the school curriculum. Music and dance performances are added attractions. In addition, the school encourages growth of intellectual curiosity and community service through various school programmes.
The support of the parents and their faith in us has made the institution grow in the eyes of bystanders. I am confident of the present and can see a bright future ahead.
